“My Parents Are Getting a Divorce”
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.”
This is the day to get help for yourself or a loved one.
AREAS OF SPECIALITY
Self-awareness is the first step to healing. It allows us to live in our own skin, flaws and all. When we have a better relationship with ourselves, we are then able to have a better relationship with others.
Couples & Relationships
Relationships are similar to a laboratory where we learn about ourselves through how we interact with others. It is through our interactions with others that we see our strengths and weaknesses. This allows up to make necessary improvements.
Holistic & Clinical Approach
I work with adults, teens, children and couples. I specialize in both holistic and conventional methods to meet the needs of each client. I treat the whole person(s) instead of their “label.” My holistic approach uses many avenues to aid in reaching the desired results. These methods include and are not limited to: Stress Reduction Techniques, Affirmations, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Results are achieved through opening doors and windows of the mind/body that were once closed.
Depression & Anxiety
Depression is defined as “anger gone inward.” It can affect the way we view ourselves by placing a shadow on all aspects of our lives. While depression lingers from our past, anxiety takes that information and projects it into the future.
Divorce is a life-changing event for both parents and their children. It is a time for necessary reflection to avoid repeating the same, old patterns. Healing is possible through increased awareness and understanding.
I invite my current clients to join my self-awareness group for both men and women. This gives them a place to be with like-minded people on the same path and receive helpful feedback and support. For over 15 years, I have been offering this group as a resource to help my individual clients gain a sense of community.
